We're fast approaching our annual conference and we still have spaces left
if you wish to attend. This will be a full day event held at the Microsoft

November 2009 - Credit Crunch Code with Gary Short
http://www.dotnetdevnet.com/Meetings/tabid/54/EntryID/38/Default.aspx
Gary travels from the deepest and
darkest depths of Scotland to give us a good ticking off for writing poor
code (just kidding, Gary).
Technical debt is the cost of putting
off good development practices. This debt, must be paid back to avoid the
“interest payments” becoming crippling. This presentation will focus on a
number of common developer (and project) anti-patterns that can lead to the
build up of technical debt in a project and, having identified these
behaviours, we’ll look at techniques to firstly quantify and then to
mitigate against them.
