ASP .Net 2.0 with Dave Sussman
Date: Monday 20 June 2005
Overview::ASP.NET 2.0 brings great benefits for the developer with the oft-quoted benefit of "70 less code". For many areas of development this is true, such as with the new security framework to handle membership and roles, master pages to provide site templates and simple two-way data binding. When faced with a new technology its easy to fall into new feature overload and try and use everything, but there are occasions when you need to rein in your enthusiasm, using the technology only where its appropriate. So in this talk Dave will cover not only the new features, but also when they should be used.
