Practical Windows Communication Foundation WCF was released in November 2006 and many development teams have been using it for a while now. As teams move from an early adoption phase into a more mature and practical use of WCF, best practice is becoming a key issue. In this session, Mehran will talk about best practices for adopting WCF (based on customer feedback/enquiries) and will visit subjects like: channel factory vs. client proxy, custom behaviours or custom channels?, Session/concurrency/instance management, transport vs. message security, interoperation with ASMX Web Services, serialisation and state management.
